behind the scenes footage of me shaking my booty by Best Day Productions with Pearl & Godiva

One Minute somewhere in Dunmanway from best day productions on Vimeo.

A couple of months I ago, I was delighted to be able to collaborate on a photoshoot styled by Pearl & Godiva. Here is the sneak peek I showed on my blog:
http://www.lisa-odwyer.blogspot.com/2011/11/sneak-peek-of-pearl-godiva-photoshoot.html

Beautiful handmade clothes by Irish designer to the stars Alice Halliday, sparkling vintage accessories from Cork boutique Elsa and Gogo, whimsical flowers and crowns by floral designer Hanako, yummy baked goods from fellow American expat Shannen of Diva Boutique Bakery of Ballinspittle, Old Hollywood style luscious make-up by Lotta makeup, and gorgeous hair by Urban Hair Design in Carrigline. There were even doves which can be rented from Dove Days West Cork! Pearl's styling was fun and edgy, and the extremely talented cinematographer Rodolphe from Best Day Productions was there to record everything in his own unique artistic way. If you are a unique and artistic couple, I'm sure you can imagine having the coolest wedding with the help of these out of this world vendors!

More of this photoshoot to follow soon....
Models are Ruth (long dark hair and ruby red lips) and Rebecca (wavy brown hair and light lips) from Lockdown Agency
And Marike (blond hair and red lips) and Sam from Pulse Model Agency

And no jokes about my booty-shaking and dorky lens belt!

my parents visit ireland

Usually January is a pretty slow time. This year my parents surprised us with a visit from the States to our home in Ireland. It's been around 5 years since they last were here, and they were keen to spend some time with the kids since they last saw them in the summer. We hung out at home a lot, but also made a few trips to historical sights like Trim Castle above (was used for some scenes in the movie Braveheart). And also to see the 8th century Celtic High Crosses nearby in Castledermot, County Kildare. Grandma even brought some little castles for the kids to make from Lowe's. This summer, it's our turn to visit in sunny warm Pennsylvania and Colorado.
