As a photographer in Ireland, I got lucky with a couple gorgeous sunny days in Dublin for weddings this summer. One of those was Caroline and Sam's wedding at the iconic
Shelbourne Hotel near St Stephen's Green. Caroline's parent's neighbours in Howth put out a Child of Prague the night before to ward off the rain, and it worked!
Their ceremony was held at the Unitarian Church nearby. After greeting guests in the sunshine outside the church, we headed off into Stephen's Green for some photographs. Caroline had brought some cool sunglasses with Irish and British flags as they are an international couple. Sam even brought his own family's tradition from Cyprus of waving napkins in the air as the couple makes their grand entrance into the reception. And of course they made it their own with the song "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" by The Darkness playing as they entered amidst the chaotic fun of the waving napkins!
