I love gorgeous weddings! I feel so privileged to be invited to photograph one of the most important days of a couple's life. It's such a big responsibility, and I really feel honoured to be part of the wedding day. When I first met Katie and Paul last Spring, I could see that they were beautiful people inside and out. I knew that their wedding would be filled with love and beauty! While it rained a bit for the ceremony at the church in Iniostige (where the film Circle of Friends was set), the beautiful umbrellas everyone carried really brightened things up. At Mt. Juliet during the group pictures, the girls pulled out a collection of cute little pinwheels they'd made the night before. It was a brilliant idea for their pictures! I'm not sure the guys were so convincing with them, but I loved their "tiger" poses! I have so many shots from the day, including a selection done on traditional medium format film which I've included here. A big hug to Katie and Paul and I wish you all the happiness for your future! Watch out for a video of this wedding from Best Day Productions and a blog post by Christine Burns the second shooter in the near future.
