Marissa and Eric are a cute couple from Wisconsin. They recently got married in Ireland at Knappogue Castle in County Clare with a group of their family and friends. They had so many cute ideas...the boys in traditional flat caps, bow ties and tweed vests...the gals carrying Autumn-coloured silk bouquets with little typewriter key initial charms...and the wedding party wearing Toms! Annie Byrne of Aislinn Events in County Kerry planned their perfect day and I must say it was an absolute joy to work with her. The day was planned perfectly which meant that they had loads of time to get the romantic scenic photographs that were important to them. They also had a First Look which is a wonderful opportunity to get beautiful photographs of the bride and groom seeing each other for the first time (there's a split second to get these photos when the first time a groom sees the bride is coming down the aisle).
Kudos to Annie for booking Vaughan's Pub in Kilfenora (of Father Ted fame) for their reception. So much fun and it looked fabulous! Marissa and Eric decided to skip the cake and brought cake mix over from the States to make Cake Shots! More of this wedding to follow on another blog soon (there is just way too much beauty and inspiration for my 'lil blog). Thank you so much to Marissa and Eric for choosing me as your wedding photographer in Ireland!
What a cute wedding! I love all the little touches, especially the use of colour; the little splashes of orange, with the rich blue and natural tweed. My sister has moved over to Liscannor, Co. Clare it's a beautiful part of the world.
