The Curragh, County Kildare, Ireland



I drive through the Curragh plains everyday during the week to take my son to his Montessori School. It's really a stunning place that not many visitors see when they're in Ireland. In fact, Braveheart lovers probably aren't aware that when the movie was filmed here in Ireland, they used the Curragh for the battle scenes. I love the Curragh when it's shrouded in fog, which is usually in the winter on cold mornings. Here are some pics from this past February.
