la la la la la springtime!

I love Spring! Especially this Spring because it's sunny and warm here in Ireland. There's no better time to get the macro lens out and take photos of nature at its finest! These flower photos were taken last week in my father-in-law's garden in Tulla, County Clare.

The natural thing is to take macro shots of flowers because you can really get in close with the lens. But it's equally great for taking shots of grubby chubby toddler legs!

All taken with a Canon 100mm 2.8 IS Macro.

  1. Gorgeous! This sunshine is just great for getting outdoors with the camera :) I love these macro shots, especially the bee on the cowslips, such beautiful light and colour.

  2. Thanks Eadaoin! I see you've been a busy bee too out there in the sunshine with your camera!
