personal work....in film

As some of you might know, I've been really interested in the idea of using more film. I find the editing involved with digital photography to be overwhelming. I just want to focus on the photography. So a couple of months ago, I took the plunge and invested in a Mamiya medium format film camera. I first learned photography on film back in the 90s. I learned on my mom's Canon manual SLR from the 70s and I developed film and printed it in the darkroom. I love the look of film. I love the color, the depth, the characteristics of different film stocks. It feels natural to me. All of my personal work is done on film now and boy is it liberating to throw off the cloak of digital editing! I'm excited to take on fully film portrait commissions and weddings. The look of film is simply breathtaking in my opinion. Hope you love film as much as I do!

    1. Thanks Bartek! I love the look of film too. Digital is sometimes too clean. Film has more depth.
