decorating the pews for your church ceremony in ireland...

Since many Irish wedding ceremonies take place in a church, some thought needs to be put into the pew decorations. You can do these yourself with ribbons, or a few sprigs of baby's breath or flowers. Or you can have your florist decorate using flowers that compliment your bouquet. Here are some images of pew decorations from weddings that I've photographed. Hopefully they'll provide a bit of inspiration and thought into what you want your church ceremony to look like.

Who Says You Can't Hand-tie Your Own Wedding Flower Bouquet?

I love that weddings have become personalised with a little DIY and can-do attitude. Only a little time ago, most brides would never dream of hand-tying their own bouquets of flowers. But if you can stick with a simple colour scheme and only one type of flower, I think most adventurous brides can create a beautiful bouquet. These pictures are from one of my favourite weddings that I photographed in Dublin. The flowers are simple and elegant; perfect for an artsy bride.
