Judith is a really sweet Irish teacher who married her prince, Brendon recently at Coill Dubh Church in County Kildare. While I was at the house getting pictures of Judith and her family getting-ready, my colleague the photographer Elisha Clarke was at the church getting some shots of the groom. And Elisha's blog post here.

Fiona of Candlelight Weddings in Straffan County Kildare did the beautiful flowers, church decorations including lanterns, and reception decor. I love the freshness of the pink flowers and blue dresses of the bridesmaids.
The cute little bike with flower pots was directly across the road from the church in Coill Dubh. How handy for a quick shot of the lovely bridesmaids!
The traditional ceremony was followed by a fantastic outdoor drinks reception at Tulfarris House in Blessington County Wicklow. This was the first wedding that I've photographed here and I can't wait to go back! I loved the outdoor area for drinks as it reminds me a bit of a mission in California. If the weather is good, this location can't be beat!
It was great to have Elisha there as she had shot weddings there before and clued me into the fact that we could get a golf cart and go out to some stunning locations near the lake. Here's Elisha at work! She used some film cameras too so go on over to her blog to have a peep at some more of Judy and Brendon's day.
The interior of Tulfarris House is just as lovely as the grounds and I highly recommend it for your reception in Ireland. Judy's dad made the most beautiful cake I've ever seen a daddy make (well, I've never seen a cake made by a daddy, but this was just BEAUTIFUL!!!). And a cute shot of Brendon's daughter's comfy Converse she changed into later in the evening!
Judy and Brendon had a comedian entertain after the dinner, and this guy seriously had everyone in stitches. A fantastic, fun night was had by all and am truly honoured that Judy and Brendon had me along to document their perfect day.
